We just finished Day Two of our Spring Break activities. Thankfully we had a relaxing evening so I'm not as exhausted tonight as I was the past two nights. And tomorrow is our "break" day which will be nice before we head off to Enchanted Rock and the Guadalupe River.
A quick recap of the past few days:
My sister-in-law had her baby boy, Kahlil Xavior, early Sunday morning! Yeah! They were able to come home late Monday night. It was a very quick, easy delivery and mommy and baby are doing great!
Saturday afternoon the boys left for the Grand Canyon. They have been excited about this for almost a year. Brian wasn't feeling too well Saturday morning, but after a hot shower, some medicine and a pep talk, he was ready to go and feeling great by the evening. They will be heading back to Texas Wednesday afternoon and if all goes as planned, we'll meet them in Fredericksburg on Thursday!
Monday we went to Six Flags! Mom, Leah, Adah, Abram, Lydia and I all met up at Six Flags and spent over 6 hours there. We went on almost all the kiddie rides, played on the big pirate ship, and watched one show. It was a lot of fun and the kids were exhausted afterwards.
Today, Tuesday, we stopped off at my friend Melissa's house to meet her new baby. Lydia loved holding Baby Lucy! She didn't want to put her down!
After visiting for a little bit, we headed off to Morgan's Wonderland. What a great place for kids to play and explore! There are rides, a huge playground area, a sensory village, and a train ride. The kids had a blast and didn't want to leave!
Tomorrow Abram is going to come over and play in the morning and then we'll just spend the day relaxing and enjoying our break from work! The weather is beautiful and we're looking forward to seeing Daddy on Thursday!
